Link Building Software Recommendations

One thing that I will be covering a lot will be link building software.  There are so many different types of software out there to help you build backlinks and it is tough sorting through the overly hyped up sales pages to determine what is going to  be a good investment.

Types of Link Building Software

There are all types of software out there for building backlinks.  I happen to test most of them out and try them on different blogs and websites to see what I get the best results for.

Some link building software I use is very specialized for a particular type of backlink.  For example, I like to use Article Marketing Robot to get thousands of backlinks from article directories and then I might export the live links into Bookmarking Demon to get thousands of social bookmarks to my article links.

Some link building software offers a wide of array of link building utilities such as SE Nuke or SEO Link Robot.  SE Nuke probably has the best variety of overall link building capabilities but the monthly price is what puts most people off.  When considering the amount of links that can be built with it the price really isn’t very much.

Types of Links You can Build With Automated Software

When automated software tools are used correctly they can be extremely powerful.  It’s almost like having your own team of virtual assistants that would be doing everything manually.

Here are the types of links you can build with SEO software

  • forum profile backlinks
  • Web 2.0 site backlinks
  • article directory and WordPress blog backlinks
  • RSS submission backlinks
  • social bookmarking backlinks
  • press release sites

Link building software can help save you literally hundreds of hours of monotonous backlink building that will quickly burn you out and have you wishing you never even heard about internet marketing.

Investing in Link Building Software – Is it Worth It?

When you consider what your time is worth to you it is easy to figure out whether or not a one time investment of $100 or more, or even a monthly investment of $100 or more makes sense.

How much is your time worth?  If you have a regular full time job what does your hourly pay rate come out to?  How many hours do you spend building backlinks for your websites or blogs?  Is it worth it to you to spend $150 a month on something that would save you 20 hours of personal manual labor?  Sure, there is more to think about like whether or not you are getting a return on investment or not but you should know whether or not an offer you are promoting converts into sales before putting a bunch of time into trying to get traffic to it.

Article Marketing

If you are capable of writing and spinning content then I highly suggest you start off with a good article submission tool like Article Marketing Robot.  You can get hundreds of backlinks from 1 good rewritten and highly spun article.  As far as time spent and bang for the buck you really can’t beat it.  You might even get some traffic from the articles themselves but I primarily just use them for link building.

Profile Link Building Software

If you are working on low competition keywords you can usually rank those fairly high in the search engines with profile links built from Web 2.0 and forum websites.  This is highly effective but can also be extremely tedious.  I’ll touch on 4 different link building software programs that I have used with success, all with different strengths and price points.  Google may have devalued profile links, but that doesn’t mean they have no value.  All links have a valuation and learning how to use them all is the difference between a successful or failing link building campaign.
